Chapter 18

Industry Voices

Abstract

This chapter offers a rare and intimate glimpse into the professional perspectives of leading creatives and technicians working in media for live entertainment. While previous chapters outlined a structured methodology for screen content production, this chapter presents a collection of essays and reflections that reveal the diversity of practices and values that shape real-world workflows. Contributors were invited to share what drives their passion, how they navigate complex production environments, and how their approaches align with, or deviate from, the Content Delivery Workflow detailed in this book. Originally collected in 2019 and updated in 2025, these voices offer insights into an evolving industry, where collaboration, memory-making, and cross-disciplinary fluency are as critical as technical expertise. Each contribution can be read independently, yet together they form a compelling narrative about the artistry and responsibility of designing experiences that live on in the minds of audiences.
